Company Changes

In the early years Rosenthal expanded the company by acquiring other companies. This strategy increased both their manufacturing capacity and skilled workforce to enable them to quickly become a world leader in porcelain design and production.

Later years saw the reverse when Rosenthal's fortunes declined in the changing world economic climate and they themselves were taken over by Waterford Wedgwood, and subsequently Sambonet.
